fun in san francisco

I have a cousin. He lives in San Francisco. His name is Shane.

He is more like a brother than I cousin and I am truly blessed to be living close to him. The two of us are the wandering late bloomers of the family. We traveled a lot. We passed up that married in your 20s thing.

We have a  blast together! I met him last Friday we hopped on bikes and rode through the panhandle to Buena Vista Park to see where his parents lived in the 70s. Then to Hayes Valley and Alamo Square up a really steep hill where we sat and stared at the Painted Ladies in the fog.

Workmen where cheering me on as I rode up that hill. I am surprised I wasn't  sore post ride. We did have some happy hour fuel to get us through. Man, bike riding happy hour crawl–how fun is that?

And the next day, after we tried on fancy clothes and bathed in the compliments of European women in the consignment shop, an entire paycheck later, we were feeling good and saw this rainbow! Pretty, eh?

Oh...San Francisco is a mighty fine city.
