A few months ago I was listening to a lot of Thich Nhat Hanh lectures on my ipod while I cleaned.
I keep thinking about something he said about how important it is to surround yourself with people who have the capacity to be happy.
I think this is part of the reason why coastal California is so wonderful. People who seek joy in life, migrate here. There's not much room for unhappy here.
I have a few bad days here and there but the amount of great days, far exceed anything I have ever experienced before. Just look at this? How could you be unhappy? And this life is one surrounded by people who have the capacity to be happy. And I tell you, the quality of life here is unbelievable.
