We were already having problems disgorging. As Brad and I were chilling the bottles, KEXP (a Seattle radio station) was playing Bjork. They seemed to do my high school play list this morning: Paul's Boutique, De La, and when Army of Me was playing- it starting skipping.
"Oh, Brad, did you know...."
The bottle he is picking up out of the chiller to put back in the freezer because it's not getting cold enough, slips through his hands and on to the floor.
"Ha. I was just going to let you know, Mercury is in retrograde, things are suppose to break down the next three weeks.
Yeah, I am in to that astrology shit, not uber hardcore, but I'll for sure ask you your sign.
This time, Mercury ain't getting me down. I feel solid, I feel ready for anything that is thrown my way.
Life is in the sweet spot right now and I am so rooted that a little mercury retrograde is nothing.
I am so inspired by my job and my co-workers and everything we do. And right now, the ultimate inspiration is the flowers that Jordan has been growing (bee friendly, organic, native)
We get to be surrounded by these amazing aromas and beautiful colors all the time. It's a dream and I am so allured to photographing all this beauty.
And I am really in love with this Romneya coulteri, a California native also known as "Fried Egg Poppy."
I think each flower on the property needs it's own portrait, don't you?
