Things are slowing down and I am grounding myself once again. An extra day off for the winter. I hunker down, save all the money I made in high season to endure for slow season. I will go be with my camera. And my friends. I will write and read and reconnect. And do yoga. And mushroom forage!
Indian summer hit West Marin this week. We perched up on the cliffs of Bolinas. The sun set yet the heat never left. It was magical. We watched the moon reflect bright over the ocean. I wanted to drink wine and dance on the cliffs edge all night. But I am on a cleanse which is hard when in the wine biz, But needed after a summer of coffee to get going and wine to wind down.
I feel amazing, actually, though, starving. But, I am sleeping and rising early and focused. I managed to sit at the computer today for 6 hours which is something that used to be a daily minimum, I now can't do it but I had a project due and the cleanse made it easy,
So grateful to live here. Now time to go reconnect with it.
