color & light | cuba

Settling into my groove after being back from Cuba and Florida for just over a week.

There is a part of me that is made for the tropics. The heat, the color, the light, the mellow attitudes and the sensuality people have through rhythm, dance, music and social interaction. I play the islander roll rather well.

There is so much to say about Cuba. So much. I don't even know where to start but I have hundreds of photos I want to post. So, there's time to sit down and write my thoughts.

My friend, Elizabeth, of Food and Farm Tours brought me as her photographer on a organic farm tour of Cuba. Cuba is all organic by default because of the embargo and soviet withdrawal they could not bring in pesticides, GMO's and had no money for fuel for tractors (hence the use of ox plow).

We spent much of our time on farms, which I will post more later but here is a photo melange of color. God, how I love color! And light!
