Sayulita | Mexico
My first day home from Mexico and I feel like I am walking on clouds. I didn't realize I had relaxed while I was there. Truth be told, there was no sleeping in in the center of the town of Sayulita with early morning construction and Banda music and rock music throughout the evening.
But today, I feel how I want to feel everyday for the rest of my life- calm, blissful, patient, focused and happy. It must be the surplus of vitamin D.
Mexico was photoshooting, girly shopping consuming, fine Italian restaurant eating, burn that white belly beach chillin, no agenda having fun.
I watched relocated bohemian expats like an outsider peering in. As one of those people who has a "real" life and wishes they could leave it all behind like them. Ah, but I was them, for nine years. I was the nomadic, boho, beach chiller so I also know that after a while you seek more, you seek purpose and tailored clothes.
Sayulita had good style. Well designed spaces, great typography, handmade products with natural materials. And Sayulita had great food.
Now back to the grind...hoping to keep this grounded zen for a while.
