Last week our beekeepers, Bonnie and Gary came out to split the hives before they swarm.
Spring is my favorite time at the meadery. The flowers started to explode in their blooming, the bees become really active and you can teach people a lot about them as they swarm or as Bonnie and Gary pop by for hive maintenance.
The days are longer, that cold tasting room is warming up, I can wear sun dresses! And soon, so many things to photograph!
